Politican Inpetitude
03.27.05 (9:30 am)   [edit]
I can scarcely believe I am still getting hits but, low and behold, I am. I originally started this blog to counter the outright distortions of the Korea Lies. The latest Tok-do nonsense has highlighted this need yet again. Although I have little free time these days, this is too good to pass up:

Roh to Meet Koizumi Before June

President Roh Moo-hyun Sunday said he is ready to have a summit with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi in June to talk about Japan’s recent attempts to lay claim to the Tokto islets and distort history

This is 100% for domestic consumption. I doubt that nobody in Japan has been consulted regarding any possible meeting. The Japanese are simply to saavy to be used as political patsies, unlike the USA in 2002, btw. And when it comes to distorting history, South Korea takes the cake; remember what happened to the last head of the Dear Leader Party? I doubt anyone in Korea does.

And now, on to the Good Olde Backpeddlng:

Roh earlier resolved his government would sternly address the bilateral issues by mobilizing strongly worded criticism against Japan.

Wow, that is great and nobody in Japan remotely gives a shit except to think that all Korean are retarded six year olds with kimchi breath.

Concern has been growing that such criticism could adversely affect the South Korean economy .

There is the backpeddling. Korea relies on Japanese techology for everything it exports. Piss off the wrong people and they will withhold the tech. Koreans will then be forced to, yet again, eat shit from the Japanese. Clever people the Japanese. They have been dealing with Koreans for so long they know exactly how to do it.

More outright lies:

But the recent dispute yielded speculations that such diplomacy will no long take place since Japan renewed its sovereignty claim over Tokto

Wrong. A lie. One prefecture, a rural backwater, passed a bill for a Takeshima day, largely as a protest for that they felt was improper fishing around the rocks. This is not a claim for the island. The was immediately disavowed by Tokyo, but no matter, it was a perfect oppurtunity for Another Korean Annual Xenophibic Hate-in. The fact that it makes Korea into an international laughing stock (again) does not matter as it is for purely domestic consumption.

And this from Comrade Roh, only days after declaring "diplomatic war: on Japan;

The Korean people should not resort to extreme ways of addressing the issues, while the Japanese people should also try to be more understanding,’’

Translation: The elite of Korea has laid down the line to stop the nonsence for now. How fast can this bike go in reverse?

Of course, these Korean hijinx are getting absolutley no coverage in Japan, where nobody remotely gives a shit. Have a look at Japan today: http://www.japantoday.com/e/?...

And the Japan Times: http://www.japantimes.co.jp/

Not a word about Korean's tantrum. This is exactly how such childishness should be dealth with. The Americans could learn from this and their experience with Korea in 2002.

As the annual March Hate In winds down it leaves me to wonder when Comrade Roh and the Keystone Commies might do something that actually benefits average Koreans?
