| Korea Lies and Life after ESL |
| 12.07.04 (6:06 pm) [edit] |
By some sort of miracle I see I am still getting hits, more than 8,000 since I last looked and blogged. Sorry for nothing more than the occassional post but I have largely lost interest in Korea.
I do find it interesting how Korea's elite is slowly beating Comrade Roh into the ground. The latest incredible climbdown was his failure to get the National Security Law abolished. http://times.hankooki.com/lpa...
This announcement was buried on the back pages along with announcements like this: http://times.hankooki.com/lpa... which is simply the Lies trotting out more pro-Comrade Roh dogma which have become cliches by now. I am truly surprised how strong the backlash to Comrade Roh and the Keystone Commies has become. Korean presidents usually become lame ducks in their final year and a half or so but Comrade Roh has become lame in a year. The entrenched elites are too powerful for even the Dear Leader to unseat it appears.
The comments section is back on at the Lies and yet again they have made no attempt to enforce their own ID policy. The good part is that poiboy is back providing a fine example of what Korean boys are. I would love him to put a few comments here because I can track his IPs through Tblog, that is if I had the time or inclination.
I have now been ESL free for almost a half year and I DO NOT MISS IT AT ALL. Teaching Koreans was nothing but senseless nonsense for the day I started it (although it took me a while to realise it) and their learning methods were even more nonsensical here than in Korea. I am working in the business sector and have a good job that is regualr hours, has excellent benefits and has some satisfaction to it. The survival skills I learned dealing with Koreans have been put to good use but I got tired of struggling with lunacy and pretention all the time. That does not happen in the business world here. If you do a good job, you are rewarded and praised. If you do not, you are toast.
Anyway, I do wish all stopping by a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Mrs Kimchipig, the Piglets and I are planning a quiet holiday together wating for Santa to make his appearance.
Best wishes to anyone stopping by and please drop a comment or an e-mail to kimchipig@yahoo.com
